How to build a training wardrobe with precision
A considered training wardrobe rarely starts in the store. It starts in your week: the sessions you actually train, the walks, the days that slide between work and the gym. The pieces that earn a place are the ones that go the whole way - staying put through the squat, breathing on the walk and still feeling right when you stop for groceries on the way home.
That is why we would rather talk about fewer, more considered pieces than about more of them. A wardrobe with clear direction makes mornings simpler and every piece more worn.
Start from your movement, not the trend
If you train strength, you need high-waisted tights that stay securely in place through squats and lunges. If you take long walks, a soft set and a jacket with a considered cut will serve you better than another pair of black tights. If you travel often, casualwear with clean lines is a wise first purchase.
Then think in combinations. Two colour-coordinated sets that can be restyled beat three tops that only work with a single pair of tights. Black, navy and muted neutrals carry the wardrobe. A shade like burgundy or olive green gives it character.
Tights that hold their shape are the foundation
Your tights are worn in the most situations, so start there. A high waist should feel enclosing without digging in. If you are pulling at the waistband already in the fitting room, it is the wrong model. The fabric needs recovery, so the fit holds wash after wash.
Sculpting training tights are a design choice, not the promise of a different body. Seams and panels are placed to follow and lift the silhouette. In Slimline FlexFlow, a gold line runs along the seam, the waist is high and contoured, and the fabric in 78 percent recycled polyester is unusually soft against the skin.
Always try things on in motion. Sit down, take a few steps, bend your knees. The piece should support you, not restrict you.
Tops for different sessions
Three tops go a long way: a longer tank for more coverage, a shorter style that meets the high waist, and a light long-sleeved layer for the way there and back. Choose by silhouette - close to the body when you want one continuous line, more relaxed when you want drape. Our tops are made to be combined with the tights.
Training sets make everyday simpler
A matching training set removes the guesswork. The proportions are thought through, the colours work together, and the pieces stand on their own - the tights with a simple t-shirt, the top under a jacket. On our training sets page you will find ready combinations at a bundle price. Edge Casual Zip Set does the same job on the days between sessions.
The jacket ties it all together
A training jacket is worn before and after the session, on the journey and through the whole autumn. Iconic Training Jacket G2 is drawn for exactly that: a wide sculpting waistband that stays in place, a relaxed fit through the torso and custom-made gold zips. The fabric is recycled, moisture-wicking and quick-drying. More styles can be found among our women's training jackets.
Buy fewer pieces - cover more occasions
Start with two pairs of tights, one set, one jacket and a few tops. Wear them for a month. The gaps that show themselves then are your real needs. Perhaps a second pair in a neutral tone, perhaps a warmer layer for early mornings. What holds its shape, feels right against the skin and follows you through the day becomes what you actually wear.
Anything but ordinary.
